Amy i heard Ms Crawford's interview on npr with my 15 year old son, who was tasked with driving me about, to prepare for licensing. i could not get out to pump gas, nor did i want him to do so til she was done speaking. maybe my being a pediatrician and seeing how devastating stories such as hers play out over peoples lives held me in place. maybe i felt my son, whose first comment was "whats up with lacrosse players?' - we know none except my nephews - needed to hear this. all of this and more. Ms Crawford spoke with both clarity and sadness. I will be reading her book along with my kids, including his two sisters. This is the kind of story which really needs to be told because it is both true and cautionary. I am impressed by the authors bravery in coming forward at this time and feel this needs to be supported. I will be buying this book.
