J.K. Rowling Controversy

I have mostly just heard people discuss this, but I believe that she started actively defending transphobia and joining in. Here are a few Youtubers talking about it: https://youtu.be/USoIAWVkCvkhttps://youtu.be/AEBixOcONvw
Rowling has an online statement that I have read that basically says "anyone can get a certificate to be a woman, so a man can use this to go into the female restroom and prey on women."
There is no evidence that letting trans people use the bathroom for their gender identity leads to crimes against women in bathrooms. This imaginary situation is being used as an argument to discriminate and take rights away. I love Harry Potter, but she who must not be named is just so wrong.
Bigotry is bigotry and I find it horrible that someone who wrote so compellingly about the effects of bullying in school could take up any kind of bigotry. Trans people are human too and, because of idiotic comments like hers, are being killed faster than any other population. I stand for Harry Potter and the Franchise but not for J. K. Rowling.
She pretty much has her own opinions on Trans people (that many feel are disrespectful)... which ok fine it is your opinion... but she should know better to be so outspoken when she has a huge platform that her "opinions" add so much fuel to fires that Trans people will have to endure and then that becomes just so disrespectful. It is very disappointing. It feels like her ago and arrogance was checked and then instead of being an adult about it and understanding how much hate the Trans community receives... she doubles down and continues her "negative opinions."
That is why so much backlash to her and the harry potter world.
But I choose to remain a Wizarding World fan. I love it. I can support the Trans community and be disappointed in JK's words and actions and STILL be a Harry Potter Fan :)
And I LOVED Crimes against Grindelwald movie. :)

So can someone catch me up, please? I have heard broken ideas here and there about Rowling; that she follows a transphobe online, being in the forefront of my memories. Is that what the controversy around her concerns? Covid issues aside, I have heard that countries don't even want to endorse her anymore or bring Cursed Child to their theatres.
Any info anyone has on this would be greatly appreciated!
