What did you think of The Graveyard Book? Neil Gaiman is my author for the complete works yearly challenge, so that's on my list for this year.Good luck with your reading challenge, and congratulations on finishing your first book of the year. :)

It's Gamora from one of the guardians of the galaxy comic books I can't remember which one.
And thank you!

I loved it so much, it was such a brilliantly told story that a little after I finished it I felt a bit deprived of that world. I'm sure you will really enjoy it!
The Titan's CurseYesterday I finished 2/30
I never did finish the Percy Jackson series even though I was such a huge fan of it, so that is my current mission!
The Battle of the LabyrinthToday I finished 3/30
I think I'll be able to finish The Last Olympian by the end of today.
Oh she's so pretty!I have to finish the Lost Hero series. I've only read the first two and I can't believe I haven't read the rest. I'm excited about Riordan's Norse god series :D

I can't wait to start it! I'll admit I got back into the series because of Nico Di Angelo and I know he's involved in the Lost Heroes so I'm really excited.
Riordan is such a master with mythology that I really can't wait to see what he'll do with the Norse gods.
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the UniverseI finished 6/30 today, I'm falling a bit behind!
If anyone can suggest other LGBT themed books that would be great!
What did you think of Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe? I picked it up off the shelf at my library the other day.
Cassandra wrote: "What did you think of Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe? I picked it up off the shelf at my library the other day."Sorry for my late reply! I really enjoyed it, I thought the writing style was refreshing and it had very original characters.
A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy SoldierToday I finished 8/30. This was a book given to me by my teacher to read and I didn't expect to like it as much as I did.
The Bite of the MangoFinished 10/30 yesterday. I found this book a little too easy to read (making it a little dull at some points) but it was pretty good.
To Kill a MockingbirdI finished 11/30 today. This book was for a novel study at school but it is easily one of the best books I've read recently.
All-New Ghost Rider, Vol. 1: Engines of VengeanceRead 12/30 today. I'm not really certain if I should include comic books for my reading challenge but I'm going to start doing that since I read comic books almost as much as I read novels.
HolesRead 14/30. I needed a book to read for the bus so I decided to reread a favourite book from my childhood.
Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens AgendaRead 16/30 today. I really loved this book and it actually inspired me to write more.
Pride and PrejudiceRead 18/30 (about a month ago oops, gotta catch up on this list). I love Lizzie's quick wit, it's so much fun to read.
Library of SoulsRead 19/30 awhile ago. This book ended off the trilogy really well, I was very pleased.
Go Set a WatchmanRead 21/30 today. This novel talked about idolizing parents instead of seeing them as people, which is something that I've thought about a lot recently.
Cassandra wrote: "Great job with your challenge! What has been your favorite book this year?"It's hard to say! Probably The Graveyard Book because it was so beautiful with its illustrations and story.
The Lost HeroFinally finished 22/30 today. I think Leo is my favourite character, I love the puns and his ingenuity.
I read The Graveyard Book this year too and I enjoyed it more than I thought it would. The whole atmosphere of the story was just the right amount of creepy and cool.
Deadpool Kills the Marvel UniverseRead 26/30. This was written in a really neat way with a cool use of addressing the fourth wall.
I'm just going to quickly go through all of the books I read in the last week of December. Fables, Vol. 1: Legends in Exile
Fables, Vol. 2: Animal Farm
Fables, Vol. 3: Storybook Love
Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man, Vol. 1: Revival
Rat Queens, Vol. 1: Sass & Sorcery
Totalling up to 31/30! They're all comic books, yes, but they're all fantastic and I really suggest reading them.
