So I just got City of Bones from my library....

ME: *rushes out of car and zooms toward my books.*
*thinks: I AM SO EXCITED TO READ CITY OF BONES*
ME: *rushes back in car with COB*
SISTER: *looks over at book cover for COB*
SISTER: EWWW That's inappropriate!
ME: *thinks: BISH WAHHHH*
ME: *looks down at cover and sighs* This book is about killing and murderers, IT'S NOT INAPPROPRIATE!!

And then I'm like...
ME: It says it's for 14-year-olds and up...
SISTER: You're WAY TOO YOUNGGGGGGGGG
ME: Bruhhhhhhh, I am NOT younger than 14, you weirdo!

LOL Yeaaaa, she thinks literally EVERY book I read is so-called "erotic." She's a weird one!

I started reading romance at 10 and she didn't have a problem with that! *sigh*

She thinks erotic has the same definition as sex or sexual interactions...😒so every time I tell her about a book I'm reading (BIG MISTAKE) that has ya know in it, she's like EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW and I'm just like 🤦 My mom even said today that she doesn't care if I'm reading that.

So, I'm like "Sometimes I like to take 'vacations' from contemporary and read action-packed books." (EXAMPLE~TOG)
And my mom literally says to me "Sexual action?"
I am just secretly dying inside...😢

ALL BECAUSE I GOT A BOOK WITH A SHIRTLESS MAN ON IT...............will my family ever understand???

Oh no!! Yeah some covers I’m sorta scared of showing since they’ll assume it’s not a good book . But either way the cover of COB (old and new one) are both stunning in my opinion

I swear, Cassie has some of the prettiest covers ever for her books 😍

Yea and Sarah J. Maas! I love all of the covers in the ACOTAR series!

I am on page 188 and I am planning to stop at page 250 today! It is...interesting...I am getting Harry Potter and ACOTAR vibes for sure and yea There are so many plot twists and it is keeping me on my toes! I love most of the characters, but The Silent Brothers are very creepy...I already decided that I would name my third child Isabelle after Isabelle Lightwood lol

I'm on page 250 and I can't believe Simon got stolen! WHO WANTS A RAT??? WHYYYYY

By Wednesday! I love all of them, but probably Isabelle or Clary! Theories...hmm, well, they are most likely going to get the Mortal Cup! Unless...they don't. Clary will eventually find a new love interest. I DON'T CARE IF CLARY AND JACE ARE SIBLINGS! Can you feel the loveee tonight?

What could POSSIBLY go wrong? There were a lot of surprises in the first book, so who knows?
