Hey guys! I wanted to create this topic so we can discuss about the best books that we have read so far in this year. I thought this might motivate us to read some new books if we hear about it from others.
You can change your opinion later on if you want.

The Hobbit!!

My favorite book has been The Poppy War! I absolutely loved the world and the way it portrayed war. Loved all the characters, and Rin was the best. I'm so excited to read the second book!

I haven't heard of that before. What's it about? How many books are there?

The Poppy War is about a girl who goes to this prestigious military academy to study. But there she faces a lot of classism but soon when war starts, she realizes how classism doesn't matter when faced with war. The book has a beautiful transition from the school setting to battlefield. And the war in this book is brutal and gory. So keep that in mind, there afr several trigger warnings and it is also an adult fantasy.
Its a trilogy. The first two books are out, the third book is coming out in November probably.

It sounds really good! If I can find it in my library I might read it! :) :)

I really enjoyed Secrets of Santorini, The Folk of the Air trilogy, and One of Us is Lying.

I really liked Chain of Gold (new release by Cassandra Clare) and the Six of Crows Duology.

I also really enjoyed Chain of Gold! I can’t wait to read Chain of Iron when it comes out!

I've tried reading the Night Circus before but couldn't get into it. I have plans on giving it a try again sometime soon coz I love her writing style so much! You should read The Starless Sea too. Its incredible!

Same! For me Night Circus is the BEST EVER!!! ❤️😻😻😻 Gosh, I thought I'd never find a book as magical as Harry Potter, and Erin Morgenstern comes along at gave me such a slap in the face!

Ugh now I'll definitely have to give Night Circus a try.

I read The Grisha trilogy and Six of crows duology, so I have to say that they are my favorite books so far.. they are both set in the same world, part of the same plot so I will count them as one...

Also, I have to add that I also loved Percy Jackson series and Heroes of Olympus, so it will also go in my favorite so far...

I love the whole fantasy worlds authors wrote about and their adventures, so I can't wait to continue...
