I nominate The Diary of a Nobody by George Grossmith, published in 1892, and approx. 178 pages. Thanks. --Jen from Quebec :0)
If it´s allowed to nominate another book by the same author, I´ll nominate The Warden by Anthony Trollope. 336 pages.
You’re right. I completely forgot in my Trollope adoration. Thank you, Francis.
Michaela-
You are welcome to nominate something else.

I have never read Trollope, if you all think that Warden will be more enjoyed by the majority as compared to Rachel Ray, I will change my nomination to The Warden.
Okay, Vics, It’s been over a week and we have 6 nominations so I’m going to close the nomination thread & set up the poll. The poll will be up through the weekend.
The votes are in and we have our Autumn Reads starting with The Haunted Hotel: A Mystery of Modern Venice in September, followed by Rachel Ray (The Mods acted as tie-breakers.) Reading schedules have yet to be determined but we will keep you posted. :)
