So it looks like October's book is almost decided. I wanted to know if you guys wanted to do a Shiree McCarver work for November, since she's kindly offered us books for review! What do you guys think? And if yea, which book? :)

She's really a sweetheart, and such a great writer. She poured her heart and soul into The Lord and Scorpion and it definitely shows.

I've only read The Lord and the Scorpion so far, but I'm excited to read her other ones.

I've never read an ebook before. Can I just use my regular laptop? Or, do I need to purchase a kindle or anything like that? I read the synopsis for The Lord and the Scorpion and it looks really good.

Yeah, these won't be Kindle editions, so you can use any computer. :)

I agree THE LORD AND THE SCORPION is good book. Let me know and where because I have read that book over 3yrs ago. I need to refresh my memory.
