Rhys (haydenrhys) I like series because they have more to it and mostly all my shelf is series

Sydney Humphrey (bjjgirl) | 194 comments Series probably because it's easier to find a series of 12 books that you like rather than 12 good books by different authors with different characters in different worlds. Plus, series let you spend more time with characters you already fell in love with. :)

Sydney Humphrey (bjjgirl) | 194 comments Yes! I'm reading the Giver Quartet right now and it's like that. I was really confused when I picked up the second book and it seemed completely unrelated to the first. I'm hoping the fourth book ties the other three together, because I'm too stubborn to give up on them.

ⓔⓜⓘⓛⓨ (mimi1mimi0) I like series, because the story really can build up.

ⓔⓜⓘⓛⓨ (mimi1mimi0) yeah. I agree

Sydney Humphrey (bjjgirl) | 194 comments @bookdude I'm reading the next one, The Messenger, right now. At least it ties directly and obviously to Gathering Blue. I just started it, but a review I read said that it ties into The Giver later on and you run into Jonah and Gabe. At last!

ⓔⓜⓘⓛⓨ (mimi1mimi0) cool. I finished the 1st book, but got really bored with the 2nd.

Sydney Humphrey (bjjgirl) | 194 comments Yeah, the second was pretty dull. It took me long enough, but I'm pretty stubborn luckily :P
