I've been writing a grammar and language blog for about 5 years. You can access it at and you'll find maverick posts like ending a sentence with a preposition--it's okay. I'm a Linguistics PhD with an English language specialty. I've also written several posts on the absurdities of English spelling, showing exactly why you can't teach reading by using phonics. I also discuss dialects and show how certain American ones derive from the places in England the settlers came from.
