Destroyed Military Base
Erwin hid behind a bush. He stuck a mag into his AK. He peered over the bush and looked at the destroyed base. He saw no movement or any traces of anyone being in the area. "The area is clear," he said to Wolfgang.
Erwin crouch sprinted over to a torn down wall and peered inside with his AK. There were skeletons, body armor, and weapons locker inside. He looked over at Wolfgang and motioned with his hand for him to follow.
She frowned, "I've never seen one before... So I don't know..." Jess looked his face over worriedly, "why?"
Erwin jumped over the torn wall and landed as softly as possible. He went over to one of the skeletons. Erwin picked up the black helmet and body armor and he put it on. He threw away the dark green tactical vest that he has been using for the past few months. He continued to look around the room for more useful military items.
Jess half gaged and half gasped at the bone bodies. She covered her mouth with her hands to muffle the sound.
Erwin saw a row of gas masks, and AK-12, and a bunch of attachments for it. He first took the gas mask and put it in one of his pockets. Then he put down his AK-47 and picked up the AK-12 to examine it. It was new and had not been fired at all. Erwin grinned with joy as he put a silencer and a red dot on his new gun. "There are a bunch of gas masks here, lots of ammo, and guns that are pristine," Erwin said to Wolfgang. He then looked at Jess and wondered if she should really be here.
Jess fallowed and frowned at the guns. They didn't need the gas masks because their bodies were use to the radiation and such; natural selection made sure of that. She went to a gun and touched it gently, "your not actually going to use these... Are you?"
Erwin looked at Jess. "I only use guns when I need to defend myself," he answered. He looked outside of the window and saw a group of people who have a red mark on their shoulder. "This may not be good" muttered Erwin.
Erwin looked at Jess. "Get back in. I don't know who those people are!" He said quietly. "Wolfgang, do you know who those people are?" He asked kneeling by the window.
Jess rolled her eyes and left, waiting outside for the guys to finish looking at their dangerous toys.
Jess sighed and walked around a little, being sure to keep the base within sight. She watched the ground as she stepped.
"She left the building, but I told her not to. This is not good at all! We have 2 choices, kill those people regardless, or we can try to sneak out of here and find Jess." Erwin suggested.
((Ok cya))Erwin nodded. He followed Wolfgang to the wall. He got angry that Jess left alone in such a dangerous area.
Erwin saw Jess in a field walking towards the unidentified group of men. "Shit!" he muttered. He looked through his pockets and found rubber bullets. He debated on weather he should shoot her with it.
Jess still didn't pay attention to the strange voices as she watched her feet crush leaves and grass.
"These are rubber bullets, they won't penetrate the skin, but it will sting. I would rather not see what they would do to her!" Erwin protested, but he watched anyway. One of the strange men saw Jess. He aimed his gun at Jess ready to shoot. "Look who comes to the outpost! A pretty, young woman!"
The bandit shot Jess's foot, just before Erwin shot the bandit in the head. "Fuck," he muttered. He took aim at the other 2 bandits and fired a steady stream of bullets and killed them. He lowered his gun, and sprinted towards Jess.
Jess screamed at the pain and load sound of gun shots. She fell onto the ground and held her bleeding foot, crying lightly.
Erwin pulled out his pistol. He hoisted Jess up on his shoulders. "Don't scream or fight back, I'm bringing you back to Wolfgang. You could also attract more attention to us." Erwin ran back into the building they were in previously. He put Jess down against a wall and stepped back.
Jess whimpered, holding back her sobs even though tears were running down her face. This wasn't her day.
"Fuck!" Erwin exclaimed. He looked at Jess's wound. "The bullet went straight through your leg," Erwin stated. "This makes it easier for both of us. Do you want me to bandage it?"
"I CARE!" Erwin screamed. He put his head down, regretting he screamed. "My significant other died in my hands during our time here on Earth. She was poisoned by a fruit she ate. I learned my lesson, and now I'm not going to let you die either." Erwin said softly. He finished with the bandage and sat back in a corner.
Guilt filled her chest on Edwin's behalf, "thanks...." She looked at Wolfgang, "I'm okay... Can we go back now?" She begged.
Erwin tilted his head down to let the dark corner cover his face. He thought about his SO, which brought a tear to his eye. he sat there as still as stone, not saying a word.
Erwin nodded. "Give me a second," he said silently. Erwin took a deep breath, and then stood up. His eyes were slightly bloodshot. "You stay ahead of me, I will cover our backs."
A grenade fell by the doorway. "TAKE COVER!" he screamed. Erwin ran for it and kicked it out fo the building. The grenade was far enough only to knock Erwin a step back, but not kill anyone. He crouched in the door way and shot a bandit on the roof of the opposite building. "We better get out of here now," he advised.

An old destroyed military base. It seems to have a sign written in Cyrillic and a Russian flag painted on it
