The promise of a luxury vacation at a secluded wilderness spa has brought together eight lucky guests. But nothing is what they were led to believe. As a fierce storm barrels down and all contact with the outside is cut off, the guests fear that it’s not a getaway. It’s a trap.

Each one has a secret. Each one has something to hide. And now, as darkness closes in, they all have something to fear—including one another.

Alerted to the vanished party of strangers, homicide cop Mason Deniaud and search and rescue expert Callie Sutton must brave the brutal elements of the mountains to find them. But even Mason and Callie have no idea how precious time is. Because the clock is ticking, and one by one, the guests of Forest Shadow Lodge are being hunted. For them, surviving becomes part of a diabolical game.

(view spoiler)[ Okay so Steph was the one they lured them all there but she wasn't the killer. That was a nice twist. I was starting to think this is too simple when (sorry i forgotten her name but the survivour) was saying it was all Steph but I liked the way the truth came out in the end. I enjoyed this. Ch 20 (view spoiler)[I really like Callie. She's a really strong woman to keep going day after day despite the circumstances. I'm loving the air of mystery and intrigue taking place. Plus finding out the who's whats and whys are making this exciting. Wonder who is doing this? My guess is maybe one of the guests?!?! (hide spoiler)]

Ch 37 (view spoiler)[Omg he was poisoned by mushrooms, how horrible, sounds like a painful as hell death. He was an utter asshate but damn.... Is it Stella? I'm thinking Stella put all this together. But she doesn't seem like a murderer? (hide spoiler)]

Ch 47 (view spoiler)[here I was rooting for Deborah all along cause she was pregnant and then she goes and so blindly falls for masons tricks. I mean it couldn’t have been more cliche the way he dropped the line about Stella being alive on his way out of the room smh. Here she is telling herself to not be stupid and realizes he’s up to something and yet..... 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ Even if she is guilty somehow why would she lie, or what don’t we know about?? Finished (view spoiler)[Kind of bummed by the ending. In a sense I also still kind of feel bad for Deborah. She did turn out a little battier than I expected, I mean shooting someone in the face is really a bridge too far. I thought she was doing it just to save herself, and she did-but she killed them all with evil intent and almost seemed to enjoy it and think she was justified. Hopefully her baby daddy can raise their kid free of her crazy. Good read, I liked the connection to the mystery thriller and how Stella really just wanted an apology from them all, which she moooooore than deserved. (hide spoiler)]
