“Mommy?” She says softly

Sjadow comes in. "Sirena? We're very far from camp! I don't know how to get back."

She turns around looking at her “We are lost” she says curling in a tight ball in the corner

Shadow snarled. " Come on! If we don't try to get back we'll get lost. And if we aren't back by nightfall we'll never be found!"

She doesn’t more staying curled up

" Sirena," Shadow savours every syllable. " Do you want to die? If we are here any longer we might die."

“It doesn’t matter” she mumbles

Shadow snarled, dropping into an attack position and slowly pounced at Sirena, dragging her out of the den.

She claws her growling quickly escaping and going back to the corner

Shadow says," Sirena. Last chance. Or I'm leaving you here. And... I might know the way back..."
Of course she knew. It was the same route when she escaped the loners and the same route she and her sister fled.

“Leave me then” she says “Everyone does” she says her ears down

" SIRENA!" Shadow lost her temper. " I SAW BOTH MY PARENTS DIE. I SAW THEM PICK UP MY SISTER AND CARRY HER AWAY. I DIDN'T GIVE UP ON LIFE, SO NEITHER SHOULD YOU."

“You are lucky” she mumbles “At least you had wolves who cared. I am abandoned time and time again why should I care anymore”

" Tell me," Shadow demanded. " Name a wolf that cares for me. Not even a single person on earth cares for me. You have Ricky and Iris..."

“They will get bored they always do” she says “your family cared”

" MY FAMILY IS DEAD!" Shadow exploded.

“I don’t care” she growls

" Well Iris and Ricky does," she growls back. " They care for you, even if you don't realize it. You're such an ungrateful brat!"

“Exactly so just leave me” she growls

" I can't! You have people that care for you, Sirena. I don't. Nobody cares if I disappears one day. But Iris and Ricky will care if you just, well, disappeared!" Shadow leaves the den and returns with a fresh rabbit. She tossed it in front of Sirena. " Eat."

She ignores it turning to face she corner

Azrael pushed himself into the den, although he barely fit. "What is going- oh, it's just some pups." He says, after hearing the commotion from outside.

He stretches back, and grabs Sirena by the scruff, "What pack are you guys in?" He says, around the pups fur. "Hey! Come back!"
