Sabine's Flat
Sabine blinked a couple times, shaking her head. "Well that was fun." She teased, even as she was trying to regain her bearings. "Damn. I could get used to getting places that fast." She grinned. "Damn. Right at the entrance to my bedroom. You certainly don't beat around the bush." She teased, looking up at him. Not that that was a bad thing for someone who got paid to sleep with people.
Keyon had a very smug grin on his face as he leaned against the frame of the doorway. "Being efficient is what we do best." He could not keep the pride out of his voice. "Let's continue to be that way." With that, he bent down and enveloped the young human in a deep kiss, one hand in her hair and the other on the small of her back.
"I don't know. It'd be nice if there were some things you could do even better." Sabine grinned suggestively before he kissed her. She kissed him back, her hands sliding around the back of his neck again. Mostly out of of habit because she was so short. She lightly tugged him forward, even as she took a step back toward the bed.
Keyon smiled as she kissed him back. He parted briefly, locked his arms around her bottom, then hefted her upwards so that she was at his gigantic height. "What if I said I was efficient at giving you a wonderful night?" He whispered against her lips before kissing her neck, jaw then lips.
Sabine squeaked and giggled as he lifted her up, smiling. "I'd say that you wouldn't have been the first to try." She challenged him with a slight smirk, catching his lips with hers and kissing him back. She locked her ankles together around his back, though her boots hindered that just slightly.
His eyebrows shot up at the challenge. Competition was always spiced things up, especially sex. "Hmm." He mumbled with pleasure as she adjusted herself around his waist. He stumbled towards the bed, and not-so-gently laid Sabine on the plush blankets, resulting in him leaning over her. "Want to have a wager?" He asked, a smile quirking on his lips.
"What's on the line, and what are your terms?" Sabine grinned, looking up at him. She pulled off her witch's hat headband as she waited, setting it on the nightstand beside the bed. Her top followed much more flippantly, and she glanced up at him. She reached down and started unzipping her skirt, though her cheerfully challenging gaze never left his.
Keyon took the liberty of unzipping the rest of the human's skirt, sliding it off of her short legs, his hand tracing her inner thighs as he did so. "If you admit that you were thoroughly pleasured tonight," He kissed down her chest. "You will meet with me again. If not..." Down down down he went until he reached between her legs. "I will grant you one wish."
"Hmm..." Sabine mused, kicking her skirt off to the side and off the bed in a pile with her top. "Oh, and before you question it, I don't lie. I manipulate, but I don't lie." She added with a grin, pulling him up to kiss him again. After a second she pulled back, "I should probably also add that I accept your bet." She chuckled, then kissed him again, unbuttoning his shirt.
"I know." He breathed as she parted from his lips. "And wonderful." A wicked smile grew on his mouth. While he pulled her into a deep, deep kiss, he threw off his shirt. Multitasking was key towards being efficient, he noted mentally.
((Time skip?))

"It's been a while since I lost a bet, or hell, anything, Keyon." Sabine laughed, kicking aside all of her blankets but the sheets. Physical activity produced heat, and now she was hot. The heat kind, not the looks kind. Although that was also accurate. Just not what she was worried about now. "But I guess I have to admit this one."
Keyon was sprawled out on the mattress, his chest rising and falling from the physical activity. His blood pumped through his veins as he stared without control at the ceiling. "I knew you would." Was all he could get out. "But I must admit." He forced himself to get up. "I am curious as to what you would've wished for."
"Well it wouldn't have been easy admitting my wish to you even if I had gotten it, so you're not getting to know it now." Sabine grinned. "You'll have to be very persuasive. In more ways than one." She teased, watching him as he moved but showing no desire to move herself. "And it appears that had the bet been to you, I would have won." She chuckled.
He laughed at her stubbornness. "Fine." He stretched, his long arms like branches arching backwards. "And yes, you would have. You are very suited at what you do." He said, meaning it as a compliment. "Whenever you are free, just call my name and I will appear." He inched across the bed and looked down at her. She was very beautiful. "Goodbye."
Sabine pouted over at him. "Aw. Do you have to leave?" She complained cheerfully. "I'm not one for relationships, but I'm also not one to run before the friend wakes. Or in the middle of the night." She looked out the window at the dark outside pointedly. "Besides, I have questions regarding your deal. Do I only get one free dial?"
Keyon paused. "Well I do not have much else to do." He said honestly, readjusting himself so that he was lying down on his side towards Sabine. "You can renew it, if we make the deal each time I come over." He cocked his head.
Sabine smiled, rolling over on her side to face him. Victory was her's, for now at least. He was still here. Plus he was interesting conversation. She nodded. "Sounds good. I don't think that I'll have to be too worried about not seeing you again." She chuckled, then lapsed into comfortable silence before asking, "Tell me about it. Being Emere and stuff. I want to know more." She asked curiously.
"We live in the deeper Spirit World." He explained, smiling at her earlier comment. He propped his head up and leaned against his hand. "But our roots are solidified in in what is now Nigeria." His lips tightened. "When some of the humans from Nigeria were brought to America, they also brought along their beliefs. And we travel were the believers and witches travel, for we cannot let them go unprotected." He explained. "But those were dark times. My race was soon forgotten. But we stayed in the American Spirit World, primarily New Orleans, where witchcraft and voodoo was still practiced. We appear to humans now in a new age. Have you heard enough?" He asked her, raising his eyebrows in question.
Sabine listened intently, chewing on her lower lip absently. She had always been one to use sex to her advantage. People talked, and she listened. And it was easier to use the fact that the Mayor was cheating on his wife with her than it was to just sleep with him. And now it'd be really hard to get her arrested with the things she could tell. Kind of a... Safety net. And advantage. So the more she learned the better it was for her. Plus, this Emere stuff was actually interesting. "Have you told enough?"
He paused as if to think it over. "Yes, I believe so." He rolled over on his back once again, staring at ceiling with a heavy and lazy stare. "Take note. You will be thrown into our world soon." He said, so very casually that it sounded like he was talking about the weather forecast. Sirens blared then faded away outside the apartment. Typical New Orleans.
"I will... What do you mean?" Sabine asked curiously, intent but not urgent. She curled up next to him, lightly resting her head on his shoulder. She yawned, nestling more comfortably against him. Her head rested on his shoulder facing him, and her hand lightly rested on his chest. Hey, friends with benefits were good. A friend was the really important one there seeing as how she could get benefits from almost anyone, but both in one was perfect. She didn't even move at the sirens.
Keyon placed the arm that Sabine wasn't pressed up against on her hip, turning to face her. "You just will." He insisted with the slightest shrug. Emere's were only helpful when they really, really wanted to be. At the moment Keyon did not desire to do anything. Chatting after f***** a nice girl was always lovely. Keyon quite enjoyed the casualness of it all, and would rather not upset the peace.
Sabine sighed slightly, but let it drop there. For the moment at least. She shifted as he moved, but mostly just stayed there. She was content for the moment. "If you have to leave in the morning, please at least wait until I'm up. Or wake me I guess, but waiting it more preferable." She smiled, kissing his cheek before closing her eyes and curling up.
Keyon smiled as she kissed his cheek. He liked the way her chest rose and fell as she drifted into sleep. It was therapeutic to him. So very therapeutic that he too drifted into very...dream filled sleep.
It didn't take long for Sabine to drift off after him. Luckily for them both, she didn't snore. Or drool. Or even talk in her sleep. She stayed asleep and still as she slept against him, giving the rare, slight twitch only occasionally.
((Sure and UMMM.... Maybe we can skip a few days and send her to the park or something, and she's running from one of the crazy vampire thingys that I don't remember what they're called?))
Keyon smiled at her yawn. Humans were so cute. He sat on the edge of the bed, his posture like a 90 degree angle, the covers squishing under his weight. "I have no preference." He answer honestly, looking at his impeccably clean fingernails. He turned to Sabine's strewn out body.
"Up to you." Sabine insisted sleepily. "Just don't ruin my flat." She added with a faint chuckle, her eyes closing as she nestled deeper into her bed and pillows. In about two seconds she was sleeping like the dead, and it was obvious it'd take nothing short of an army to wake her up before she woke by herself.
At her first comment, Keyon looked around for an wii-box or whatever she had said. "I suppose video games would pass the time-" He turned back to her, and crinkled his brow. Annnd she was asleep. He laughed out loud, then adjusted himself so that he was close to her, grabbing her hand.
Sabine was perfectly willing to just let him mess around and deal with it himself. Which she would tell him, if she was anywhere close to awake. His touch made her murmur slightly and shift in her sleep, but that was pretty much the only thing that she did.
((Sounds right.))
Emere's woke up as soon as the sun peeked over the horizon. Keyon was no different. He sat in a chair by her kitchen table, gazing out a window. Sunlight filtered through and hit his brown skin. He sighed with content, needing only his thoughts to keep him company.
Emere's woke up as soon as the sun peeked over the horizon. Keyon was no different. He sat in a chair by her kitchen table, gazing out a window. Sunlight filtered through and hit his brown skin. He sighed with content, needing only his thoughts to keep him company.
"I want food." Was the first thing Sabine said as she walked into her kitchen, having changed into a tanktop and yoga pants. She opened the fridge, her loose blonde hair swung around her face as she leaned over to see what was in the back. After a moment of consideration she pulled out a box of half a pizza and set it on the table, sinking into a chair next to him. "Want some?" She offered as she pulled out a slice for herself.
"I am not hungry." The emere said, admiring her from behind as she rummaged through the fridge. When she sat down, his gaze turned to her breasts. The pizza sat unnoticed and unloved. Poor pizza. "Did you have any nightmares?" He asked bluntly, crossing his endless legs.
Sabine didn't even blink at his gaze, as she was most definitely used to the attention she brought. She shrugged. "Just slight twists on recurring ones, no biggie." She paused right before she took a bite of pizza. "So, yes to your question technically. But I'd say nothing to worry about." She shrugged again before taking a bite of her pizza.
"Frankly my dear, your mental state would be indestructible if you did not have nightmares. You are afraid. And that is ok." He said, not breaking eye contact. "We need to meet with the witches."
Sabine nodded, listening intently to him as she took another bite of pizza. "We?" She mumbled around it before swallowing and repeating, "We? You are coming with me?", relief obvious in her voice. Sure, she could be precise and proper. But this was her house, and if he was going to be staying he'd have to get used to her ways.
"If you want." He said, blinking slowly, boring into her gray gaze. "I honestly do not give a flying fuck. You are the decision maker. I am bound by your promise." As soon as the words came out of his mouth, the emere realized the grave reality of them. They tasted bitter, like a bad berry.
Sabine controlled him.
Sabine controlled him.
Sabine honestly didn't catch the true severity of his words. She still didn't understand other species. "You do not want to trust me as a decision maker. Partially because it's me, partially because I have almost no idea what's going on. I am going to follow your lead. I would prefer for you to stay with me, but I am not going to force you."
Keyon nodded, his empty gaze boring into the pizza box like it was an abyss. Of pizza. "I will stay with you." He said, looking up at her with his light brown eyes. "Because you will defiantly die without my assistance, because something always goes wrong when those witches get involved. I do not want you to die. That would be most unfortunate." He said blankly.
Sabine smiled slightly, then it widened and became a bit confused. "Not that I don't appreciate the sentiment, but why do you care so much?" She asked curiously, standing to get a drink. She snagged a mountain dew from the fridge and started back to her seat, but paused to lean over his shoulder, kissing his cheek.
He watched her get up from her seat, then looked out a window. "I don't need a reason. I am Keyon." He said, as if that explained everything. He was still expressionless as she placed a kiss on his cheek.
"Alright." Sabine shrugged, setting her drink down. She wouldn't let him be expressionless for long. She pulled his chair out from the table just a bit, enough to slide in and sit on his lap facing him. Smiling at him a bit wickedly, she kept eye contact with him as she leaned in and kissed him full on, her eyes slowly closing once her lips touched his.
