Four more to add today. I'm on a reading roll.
3. Voyager
4. Annihilation. A very inventive Sci-Fi / post-apocolytic world. Can't wait to read the next book in this trilogy.
5. Everything I never told you
6. Saint Odd. I'm sad that this series is over, but it was a good ending.
Although I have been reading quite a bit, I have been lax in posting to Goodreads. The reason is that I hate having to break out the laptop because the iPad app just doesn't work as well as the full site. Anyone else feel that way about the app?
7. No Shelter (#1 in a series about a female assassin)
8. All the Light We Cannot See
9. Drums of Autumn (Outlander #4)
10. The Fiery Cross (Outlander #5) I usually take a break between the Outlander books because the wear me out mentally, but it was available at the library so I had to get it.
11. The Bishop's Wife
12. Authority (book 2 in the Southern Reach Trilogy)
13. Darkfever A friend gave me this book. I really enjoyed it. Great characters!
Made great headway in April due in part to a great fantasy series.
14. Bloodfever
15. Faefever
16. Dreamfever
17. Acceptance
18. The Game
19. Shadowfever
20. Bullet Rain
21. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (sorry just had to read them again, though I skipped the first 2 books)
22. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
23. The Girl on the Train It was hard to get into because I just didn't like the main character, but I'm glad I stuck with it. It was a pretty good thriller.
24. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
25. Alone (Girl in the Box #1)
26. Untouched (Girl in the Box #2)
27. Soulless (Girl in the Box #3)
28. A Breath of Snow and Ashes (Outlander #6)
29. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
30. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
31. As You Wish : Inconceivable Tales from the Making of The Princess Bride
32. Exodus (book 1 in a trilogy)
33. Peking to Paris : Life and Love on a Short Drive Around Half the World
34. The Killing Floor (Book 1 in the Jack Reacher series) I really enjoyed it, will probably continue the series.
35. An Echo in the Bone (Outlander #6)
36. Written in My Own Heart's Blood (Outlander #7) CAN'T WAIT FOR #8
37. Orange is the New Black (didn't know it was a book, just thought it was a netflix series.) Highly recommend it.
38. The Legacy Code. This is the first in a series. The writing was ok, story was interesting, don't know if I'll continue.
39. The hunger games. Reading the Legacy Code made me want to reread the Hunger Games series. What a great series, and such superior writing compared to the Legacy Code.
40. Catching Fire
41. Mockingjay
I've been slowing down on the reading, but it looks like I'm going to make it this year. Only 6 books to go!
42. Wolves of the Calla (The Dark Tower #5)
43. Mark of the Dragonfly
44. Song of Susannah (The Dark Tower #6)
48. The Key (True Reign #1) Didn't like it well enough to read the rest of the series.
49. The Reason I Jump : The Inner Voice of a Thirteen-Year-Old Boy with Autism
50. Counting by 7s. What a great book to finish my 50. It made me laugh, it made me cry. I felt satisfied at the end.
YAY! I DID IT! This was finally my year and I still have over a month to go. I read some great book and I read some duds, and I can't wait to read some more.
