I found this books enjoyable although not as good as The Selection trilogy... Eadlyn is annoying lol

Yes! She’s so bratty and annoying and ugh. I think it’s mostly Maxon and America’s fault though because they seem like to have raised her not very strictly

I know! I mean, their other kids seem to have turned out okay. More decent and humble. But Eadlyn can be so mean and vain and not even realize it. And it kind of surprised me since America and Maxon were never like this. They treated everyone with respect and equality.

ok, this might be an unpopular opinion, but i liked eady more than american...

i simply never really liked america, i thought she was really anoying when she couldn't chose between maxon and aspen

and through out the heir and the crown you can see eady changing and becoming more mature and not as childish and bratty.

Yeah it's not an unpopular opinion haha. A lot of people seem to like Eadlyn more than America and that's okay. I still have to listen to The Crown audiobook which I'll read this August so I still have to see that happen haha

That's true, she does change, but I still think she will have that 'all deserving' attitude for the rest of her life

But it was so cool to see the words America Schreave instead of America Singer! It seriously gave me goosebumps

Oh I know! They are one of the best OTP'S. And I'm about to finish The Crown so I see what you guys say about Eadlyn changing for the better :)

Their entire family makes me want more siblings😂

It's a guilty pleasure for me as well lol. I finally finished the last book (The Crown) and it was okay. I don't think I'll ever reread the last 2 again. Only America's story.

Yeah, I feel the same way but whenever I reread the first three I feel like I’m committing a sin by not completing the series😂

Well, I read the stories in it, which I think are The Guard, The Queen, The Favorite, The Prince and... are there more? I liked The Prince and The Guard. The other 2 not so much. What about you?
