Okay - the food poisoning shtick was alright - I think Hallie was in on the food poisoning with the waiter guy. Gemma said he looked vaguely familiar.., I don't think Josh knows at this point. I Emma he could but I think this is Hallie all the way. I still can't figure out if I like Josh for Gemma - I think Ford will be a stronger contender for me.

Yeah I still haven't truly met Ford yet. But I like him, I'd like her to spend some more time with him so I can get to know him. haha. I agree with you that everything is Hallie, I'm doubting Josh knows because otherwise he would've known something about the food poisoning and wouldn't have eaten the food.

I guess it's possible it's all Hallie. I just want Gemma to figure things out already! Can I reach into the book and shake the girl? I like Josh fine, but they won't be able to have a normal relationship. Especially if Gemma's dad and their mom end up getting back together (which I think is a possibility in book 3). Ford seems like a better fit because he's the boy next door type and they seem to have an easy friendship.

Thinking josh is not in on it since he got sick too. Dad didn't get that mad about the bikini purchase. Wonder what type job she's going to get to repay her dad for the bathing suit.
