Okay, I have to confess something to you guys.

I have no idea how the monthly challenges work.

Does everyone just read a lot of books and get scores for each and at the end you compare points or?

Yeah I have the same question. What do you actually do in these monthly reading things?

it’s my first challenge that i’ve actually participated in, and I don’t know. lol. also i’m pretty much the only active person on my team? is that a problem?

so I’m on the team of Spooktacular Story lovers for the october challenge, you can find the info in the challenges folder

Yeah, the monthly challenges are basically where you read as many books as you can during the month, with the option of either participating on a team or as a solo participant. Points can be earned for the page count, and extra points can also be earned if you include a review, if you buddy read a book, or if you read the group BOTM. We might consider modifying the system for next month’s challenge due to the lack of activity from some of the participants in the teams though.

yup, sometimes readers can request arcs from net gallery (and i think there may be other websites), but i've never requested one tho

We usually make suggestion threads. I presume the mods have been busy with real life, so it hasn't yet, but I'm sure they'll make one in the next few days!

I can jump in if you'd like me to make the threads instead this time. Just tell me whether we should let people still nominate genre, or if I should just go for something we haven't had yet
