To kickstart discussion around this book, I wanted to talk about Kendi's thesis about racist ideas and how they stem from systemic policies meant to bolster those in power rather than from ignorance or hate. I had always imagined racism as a product of hate. This inversion is having a profound effect on my viewpoint.
