Also I want to put a fairly big event into his life that makes him closed off but I don't know what (I don't want to go down the abused route)... Maybe due to the way his parents treated him he felt like he was suppose to be cut off an not really let anyone in. He could also have seen his parents kill someone and have had his parents treat him worse plus no one listened to him.
