I agree with Carol. I love the way Thomas ended everything, sweetly, and so open ended for the future. I wish that Quinn's lavender farm operation would have been fleshed out a bit more. Maybe more in the future.

I still wasn't crazy about the Quinn and Staton story line, but at least they did finally come around to making it official. I never liked the old cliche of "making an honest woman out of her." But I guess in this case, that pretty much sums it up. LOL!
I really liked Yancy's story. But, I would have liked to of seen a bit more conflict when the crime occurred. It seemed like Yancy's heroics were kind of brushed past too quickly. When the bad guys pointed him out and then were told that Yancy was the informant, that just seemed too easy. I wish that scene would have been fleshed out a little bit more.
I agree with Donna that the story of him fixing up and repairing the cabins for the senior residents was great. I really like stories when criminals redeem themselves in a good and tangible way and feel better for it.
I am looking forward to seeing where some of these characters go in future books. However, I'm sure that Ms. Thomas will introduce us to many more residents of the Ransom Canyon area before we are done.
If anyone is interested in continuing on with future books let me know.
