▶ʜᴀɪʀ﹕ Diana has long, dark brown hair. It falls to her mid back, and she is trying to grow it back out to be longer. Diana's hair is naturally wavy, but it is easily persuaded to be straight-if she brushes it while wet.

▶ᴇʏᴇs﹕ Diana has beautiful light blue eyes. They are big and charming. She finds them rather mesmerizing to people; after all, eyes are the window to the soul.

▶ᴄᴏᴍᴘʟᴇxɪᴏɴ﹕ Diana has beautiful porcelain skin. It burns easily, which is part of the reason she loves New Orleans' weather so much. Diana believes that her pale skin is much prettier than some girls' fake tans.

▶ʙᴏᴅʏ ᴛʏᴘᴇ﹕ Diana is rather slim, but is also a bit curvy. She doesn't like guys looking at her body in a lustful way, so she tends to keep away from very tight clothing. Diana stands at five feet four inches, and weighs a meager 112 pounds. She likes being short; she can wear super high heels just to be more of a 'normal' height.

Diana is a very sweet and caring girl. She has a motherly personality; many have said that she would be a great mother. She seems dainty and elfin, but is actually quite strong and brave; selfless. Diana can be very stubborn and insistent, which can be masked by her charm. She loves taking care of animals, often nursing them back to health. Diana is also surprisingly intelligent, with a vast amount of knowledge on herbs and plants. She claims that its because the animals taught her, though nobody ever thinks that they literally taught her.
Diana spends her time outside in the woods, meditating and learning. She is sometimes thought of as crazy and having voices in her head, when it's actually the animals all talking to her at once. In the mid twentieth century, when mental disorders became more of a normal thing, some tried to say that she was schizophrenic. Though she's not.
Diana has a big heart, and is very empathetic. She has a big heart and is very understanding. Diana is able to put herself in someone else's shoes, metaphorically. She has a kind heart and can be very merciful. Diana believes in second chances, but knows that some people never change.

The Positives

▸Diana loves animals. All of them. Spiders and snakes alike. Since she can communicate with them, she has no problem with their presence.
▸Diana loves to read and write. She likes to read fiction and fantasy, as she finds it how funny humans are. What they believe witches are like. Diana keeps a journal and she writes in it almost every day. But she keeps it well hidden.

▸Diana makes for a very good spy. Animals can watch her house for her, and warn her when somebody is coming. She finds it quite humorous, because only girls in her coven knows about her ability with animals.
▸Diana is very charming, and is very much so on men. She uses this to her advantage, and can easily persuade them to do things for her without using her powers on them.

The Negatives

ᴅɪsʟɪᴋᴇs
▹Diana hates it when people maim or kill animals. She can get quite wrathful with people who do that; especially when the animal was her friend. Diana also hates when she has to use dead animals in her potions. It makes her feel guilty and bad about herself. She makes all of her potions away from animals, unless there is no deadness involved.
▹Diana strongly dislikes the sound of crunching gravel. She is unsure where the dislike came from, but she knows that she hates the sound.
ᴡᴇᴀᴋɴᴇssᴇs
▹If you threaten one of her animal friends, Diana will do almost anything to make you not hurt them. Or kill you. That's an option too.
▹Diana relies heavily on animals. Spies, friends, you name it. If you somehow cut her off from them, she may go crazy.

Part II

It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.

Diana grew up in secret, her mother not wanting her coven to know that she had a daughter. Her mother was unwed and single, so she's not entirely sure who her father was. At the tender age of four, Diana's mother couldn't keep her a secret anymore. Instead of telling her coven that she had a daughter, she put her daughter in an orphanage in Boston.
There, Diana went to an all girls' school, which she hated. She was considered eccentric and odd, because she had a strong love and affection for animals. Any type of animal, to be honest. Diana went through school with a secret pet mouse, who was named Lily. Once, somebody saw Lily and tried to kill her, but Diana started to cry and picked her up. She got in trouble with the teacher, and had to bring Lily outside. That is when Diana realized she could speak to animals. Diana had told Lily to wait for her after school. And when school was over, Lily came running over to her.
Diana fondly kept Lily over the years, keeping her until she died, and taking care of her descendants. She was always sad when some of them left her, but knew that they would have a good life. One always would stay with her; generally a female.
During the Civil War, Diana disappeared. What actually happened was that she traveled to Washington D.C. There, she watched Abraham Lincoln, who she simply adored, and patiently waited for the war to end. Somehow, Diana knew that the war would be a long one, not over in a few days. Or a year. Or two years.
Over the years, Diana moved around a lot. Every so often she would move back to Boston where her accent fit in. She hated World War One, but gladly worked alongside other women to help the war end. Diana hated the Great Depression, but she moved to England right before the economy collapsed. When she heard about a new war coming on, Diana swiftly went back to America, not wanting to get involved. Again, Diana worked with women to help end the war.
Diana finally decided that she had enough of war and poverty, so she moved to New Orleans. She knew of witches and covens that were there, and was very curious as to what it was actually like there. Diana found that she liked the city, and decided to join a coven herself. She wanted to be useful, but she keeps animals out to make sure nobody is plotting against her. Diana knew that she was nowhere near as important as Lincoln or Kennedy or King or even Malcolm X, but she still didn't want to be murdered.
