I'm so excited to read Ask Again, Yes this month! I have heard such good things about this one. It made a ton of favorites lists from 2019. Who's going to read this one in August with me?

How is everyone's summer going? I know it's a different summer than normal, but I'm hoping you're all doing well! What's a summertime activity that you love that you've still been able to do this year? I am thankful to have visited my cousin and her pool a few times. I also LOVE finding ice cream places that sell dark chocolate with mint ice cream and I found one this summer. Too bad it's not near me! haha.

Kim Kantor (kimkantor) | 92 comments I’Ve has this on my shelf for quite a while...since it was a BOTM pick. So I’m so glad it’s on for this month! Planning to read both of your books this month, time permitting, but definitely starting with Ask Again Yes!
We live 1/4 mile from the Columbia River here in Washington State, and it’s been so nice on the recent hot days to be able to go to “the beach.” It’s not crazy crowded like the Southern California beaches of my growing up years so we are able to social distance pretty easily. Having both my kids and their babies (ages 9 years to six months) going to the beach also with a picnic makes it a pretty perfect day!

Floor tussendeboeken (floorflawless) Ooh maybe I'll jump in, not sure yet as there are some other books I really want to get to and have been sitting on my shelves for a really long time

Theresa | 57 comments I think I might because I do own the book but I am trying to finish up other books.

Debbi Faust As always, I am excited to join in with this group. I am going to try to read both books.

My summer doesn't feel the same at all. :-( We have two granddaughters that play league soccer all summer long and we follow them almost everywhere they go. It is something we really enjoy but because of, "you know what", no soccer for us this summer. I have been mostly nesting and getting projects done around here. I have one thing to look forward to soon. My daughter is coming for a visit the middle of August. WOO HOO!

Nessie | 13 comments I'm in. I've been wanting to read ask again yes. I'll have to grab it from Wal-Mart I seen it there the other day. Darn it hope it's still there. Lol.

Kristi (sweetheavenlygrace) Hello! This book is on hold with the library that I borrow my e-books from for the next 11 weeks, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to read it this month or not, it will depend on if I get it early or find another source to access it.

Everything about this year has been off...to include this summer. I'm hoping and praying that we can get back to normal soon.

Stephanie (estephb21) | 6 comments I got this one from the library as well. Excited to do both these readings. I’m reading a little slow now bc my kids are a little demanding, but hopefully when school starts for them I can go faster.

Sarah (prairielily) | 26 comments I'm in for this one. And my copy came from the library already.

I've been doing some sewing and reading.

I'm a teacher, so my summer has been full of anxiety about return to school. We don't start until Sept. but...

Elizabeth Tavares Picked this up from my library and will be joining in. The synopsis sounds so good! I think it's going to be one of those books that makes you think...what would I do in the same situation? Looking forward to this!
