Robyn (loaturtle00) | 4 comments Back when I was in college (~2002-2003), living off-campus in an apartment, I would occasionally host a TMNT Movie Marathon Party. I think I had 5 or 6 total that year. I would invite people over (usually 3-5 guests, some would come & go) & we would watch the 3 TMNT movies. (Remember back when we only had 3 TMNT movies?) Dating this even more, I only had them on VHS tapes, so we would have to "be kind & rewind" them (to save time for my guests who needed to be back in the dorm by midnight, I would wait until the party was over & the guests left before rewinding).

Robyn (loaturtle00) | 4 comments Continuing my TMNT Movie Marathon Party story... Sometimes we would take a little "intermission" between movies. I remember sometimes making a "refreshment run" to the nearest grocery/convenience store. We would get the ingredients to make our own English muffin pizzas, & I would also serve blue-green Koolaid (since it looked like we were drinking mutagen;).
Nowadays, I at least have the movies on DVDs, but since there are now 5 movies (or 6, if you count "Turtles Forever"), a movie marathon party would take a lot longer!

Robyn (loaturtle00) | 4 comments It's hard to find a group to invite to a TMNT Movie Marathon Party, since I moved to another town. But if anyone is ever interested, it would be so much fun to do! Maybe we could do one long-distance...somehow?
In light of the most recent movie that came out, I would also consider adding frosted PopTarts to the menu. ;)
