Oh my gosh, that's a loaded question! I read a lot of good books last year. Hmm; well now I have to think.
"Glory OBrien's History of the Future" was simply the one I got most excited about. I did really like it (a strange-but-fantastical mixture of weirdness and solid, relatable characters - as is AS King's signature!)
I did also really like "Fangirl" by Rainbow Rowell; although I skimmed through a lot of the fanfiction portions. I saw so much of myself in the main character of Cath, it was unreal!! :)
Manu wrote: "Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. That book was beauty personified. A pure genius!"I had the same feeling when I read the book way back in 2010. It was my Best read of that year.
"The Thirteenth Tale" by Diane Setterfield....though I was happily surprised by "Vanity Fair" too. :)
LOL!! I thought I had the answer to this until I looked through my pile. This is a hard one :"( but I guess I'll have to go with The Help It was a good story and it made me get teary at times.

Gone Girl. After that I read her other books. All stellar.
I absolutely loved Maybe Someday! I would choose it but I'm going to have to go with Wolves at the Door it's the second book to one of my favorite series.
Most definitly To Kill a Mockingbird. The characters and the storyline was so good! I was able to read it in my english class so I was able to get more out of it I think!
