Sometimes you get a feeling of which book might be in your top ten of the year fairly early on. You can name them as you start to discover them and keep adding as the year goes on.

Autumn (autumnmemory80) So far one of my favorite books that I have read for 2015 is To Kill a Mockingbird. I listened to it on audio with Sissy Spacek reading it, and it was beautiful and amazing. One of my favorites of all time now for sure!

Maggie | 25 comments My best books so far this year?

The Treatment by Mo Hayder Wow what a book, quite horrific, moving, and a real page turner. Just got hold of a film version - its German, De Behandeling, which I can't wait to watch

Three Seconds by Anders Roslund -I'm a big fan of Nordic Noir and these writers are the best!

A Burnable Book by Bruce Holsinger - enjoyable historical mystery set in the Middle Ages (just before the War of the Roses)

The Moonstone by Wilkie Collins

The Rosie Effect by Graeme Simsion - great and funny follow-up to the first book

Before I Go To Sleep by S.J. Watson - great thriller with a unique premise

Dating the Devil by Lia Romeo - cute and engaging chick lit/romance

The Boy in the Suitcase by Lene Kaaberbøl - engaging thriller from Denmark

The Buried Giant by Kazuo Ishiguro - delightful book, my first Ishiguro. Wonderful historical story.

The Shadows by J.R. Ward - latest in the paranormal romantic suspense series - one of the best!
