We have opened a promotion place for you authors and street teams. Please read the rules before posting, though they are quite simple and can be summed up thusly: participate in the group and don't spam us.

Please make sure that you are posting a link to your review under each book. It is hard to see who is participating in the group without seeing the links to the reviews. Thank you!!

To keep this thread from getting too long, from time to time I will go through and delete old announcements.

APC is changing here on Goodreads! you are going to notice a LOT of changes during August and you might not like them all! I encourage you to go to APC on Facebook, as that will be staying the same and it will be taking up the some of the events and files of the GR group.

As Jen said, we are aiming to make this group more reader-centered. For this reason, we will be changing the name of the group (new name will be announced soon), and will move all author-centered programs to the Facebook group. We want this group to be more about the Book of the Month, which, as it stands, are not getting the attention they deserve. We want to inject new life into the reading program, and so we ask: how can we make the Book of the Moth program better?

A few other things:
1. No one is expected to read all seven featured titles. The purpose of categorizing them by genre is to give all readers a choice from their preferred genres. Nor is anyone expected to participate every month.
2. Kimberly Vanderbloom is our newest moderator. She will be taking over the Science Fiction/Dystopian thread, which will be expanded to include horror. Please join me in giving her a warm welcome.
3. As I said, we need to get this program back on track. If you have any suggestions on how we can make it better, please run them by us. We welcome reader input.
