Everything about the book was horrible and depressing. I can't imagine having to have gone through this with a family member or friend. I gave it 4 instead of 5 because I thought it was repetitive at times.

Have you read The Chamber by John Grisham? That was easier to take for me, despite being just as depressing.

I finally finished - I was engaged throughout. As I mentioned to Kandice in the comments on my review, it is not really a book you "enjoy", per se . . .
