This category is really hard. How do you go about picking a book that will make you cry. Well, for me, I got lucky. I was reading this book, And, I started to cry...so, here is my choice.
Would it make others cry...maybe not. For me, the characters situation, and her desire for love touched me, and made me weep.
The book is divided into two sections. The first is based on a continuation of a short story she had written years ago, and the second about the children in the first story all grown up.
The first story I think is more enjoyable, and more romantic. The second one more forced. It is a typical romance plot, but the first story I believe has more plot and more substance. The second not as well penned.
As to whether I would recommend it to others, I would say for diehard romance fans, this is a good check out from a library, but for others, you might want to scope out some better choices. I love Jude Deveraux, but it was not her best.
I would give it three stars because of the first story.
