i tried duolingo at first, it didn't really help me that much since it's more for practice, but the discussion forums are funny

Lily Rose | 43 comments Hi! I'm half Korean (but it's like very far genes we didn't even knew we had until we took a DNA test) and I'm still learning. I've been learning korean for three years now with the help of a native korean since two years and she's been very helpful! If you need to get someone to talk to, try HelloTalk or Tandem, which are apps that will put you in communication with native speakers.
I wasn't getting any improvement and knew only basic sentences and when I started talking with my now friend, I got to the intermediate level in just a year, and now she tells me that I'm almost fluent!

So if anyone needs help, don't hesitate to ask anything, I'm whiling to help anyone in need!
