GabsAboutBooks Share which books you've completed during the readathon! Also how many pages did you read or hours listened to audiobooks?


Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Harry Potter, #5) by J.K. Rowling (I had one hour of this left but I 'finished' it. lol.)

This is the book that always prevents me from successfully completing my reread of the series.

It's one of the harder ones. Both length wise and emotion wise.

Finished my first for this readathon- Death on the Downs, by Simon Brett. This was my audiobook for the middle of the night, and since I had already finished part of it yesterday I had just over 2 hours left to finish by the start of hour 8. Yay! I am liking this series, so far.

This AM read Short Horror Stories Vol. 26: Scary Ghosts, Monsters, Demons, and Hauntings and am finished The Children of Red Peak. Wow, what a disturbing yet compelling novel!
Then have 5 ARCs for Tuesday.:(

I finished with about 2 minutes left! I loved both of these books and I think Darling Rose Gold was my favorite thriller I've read in a very long time.

I also read 53-54 pages of Outlander by Diana Gabaldon and listened to over 10% of Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor. I had so much fun and plan to join for the next one in October. Especially if I can pre-plan my schedule more ahead of time!

Alicia (readersbeadvised) I went into the readathon finishing the audiobook Shadows of the Workhouse before moving to another audiobook The Feather Thief and moved into one last one but I didn't finish that one. As for completed read books, they included finishing the book I was already reading Show Me a Sign, then moving to Little Dreamers: Visionary Women Around the World, Turning Point, These Fevered Days: Ten Pivotal Moments in the Making of Emily Dickinson, Blank Canvas: My So-Called Artist’s Journey, Vol. 2, Blank Canvas: My So-Called Artist’s Journey Vol. 1, Winter Bees & Other Poems of the Cold, The Silence Between Us, We Are All His Creatures: Tales of P. T. Barnum, the Greatest Showman, The Black Kids, Window Horses, re-read my favorite newer manga series Witch Hat Atelier, Vol. 1, then finished the readathon with Witch Hat Atelier, Vol. 2. I read for 23 hours and 29 minutes.
