We do not merge Alexandre, because that name is on the cover of the book. I have added Alexander as the primary author on that book.

I also liked your choice of changing the primary name from "Alexander Shirvanzade" to "Alexandre Shirvanzade". Although the former is widely used on the net and most of Goodreads staff was listed under that name, the only two books published in English as well as the Library of Congress website use the version "Alexandre".

I thought I was editing to add more, and ended up deleting that too. So it of course still stands.
