If anyone here going through the EFM program?
I'm about to start year three, where I get to read Macculloch's tome on the history of Christianity A History of Christianity: The First Three Thousand Years
What's really got me though is that they're adding a new reading to the year I just finished, and I bought a copy myself to read before we start so I'm familiar with it. It's What Are Biblical Values?: What the Bible Says on Key Ethical Issues.
Has anyone else read it, any thoughts so far?

The program is good, and has helped me develope skills in theological thinking. It has also helped to feed my hunger for knowledge of the faith and traditions.
I think a vital part of the program is the small group dynamic. It really requires a lot of trust and openness with the others in your seminar group.
It is unfortunately demanding of time. I had to take time away from the program, and i know others in my parish have as well. Especially those under fifty.
