Ross (the_artratt) | 5 comments If anyone here going through the EFM program?
I'm about to start year three, where I get to read Macculloch's tome on the history of Christianity A History of Christianity: The First Three Thousand Years
What's really got me though is that they're adding a new reading to the year I just finished, and I bought a copy myself to read before we start so I'm familiar with it. It's What Are Biblical Values?: What the Bible Says on Key Ethical Issues.
Has anyone else read it, any thoughts so far?

Ross (the_artratt) | 5 comments The program is good, and has helped me develope skills in theological thinking. It has also helped to feed my hunger for knowledge of the faith and traditions.
I think a vital part of the program is the small group dynamic. It really requires a lot of trust and openness with the others in your seminar group.
It is unfortunately demanding of time. I had to take time away from the program, and i know others in my parish have as well. Especially those under fifty.
