i think the instructors just decide.

Teachers will host classes whenever, we used to do classes a lot the first week and when we had testing, but now whoever has a teacher claim can post in the hallway topic a note that says they're having a class

It needs to be in bold letters though, and in the format of a letter. You can look on the Hallway topic for examples from Cade

Yeah, members don't have to go. Also, Lu snuck out with Meri, Lay, and Lilith, and it's not a mission from the academy, it's a seperate one

Basically once they do something surprising or big. Like MacKenzie is super insane and started a fire. That could be interesting. Or if they have an interesting sparring match.
