Martin Talks | 2 comments One for the authors like me out there who have either recorded or wish to record an audiobook.

I am attempting to self-record an audiobook version of my novel so that it complies with ACX. I wondered if anyone had done this and what their key tips are.

For those who are even less familiar with ACX than me, ACX stands for Audiobook Creation Exchange and is a marketplace for professional narrators, authors, agents, publishers and rights holders to connect and create audiobooks.

Bob Finistraty | 3 comments It seems to me that professional sound recording should be done using professional equipment. Pure sound is not just a best cheap microphones review https://likesfinder.com/blog/the-best..., because the sound processor must be preempted and noise canceled.

P.J. Greystoke | 1 comments I'm a voice over artist as well as an author. My key tip is to consciously vary your vocal tone to match the sentence and phrase being read. You'd be surprised how easy it is to slip into a more monotone voice.
