Review Group discussion

I’m doing a book launch on September 1st through New In Books. Has anyone else done this? If so how did it go? I’m a new author looking for advice on launching my book that was just released I’m behind since a revised version of my book will be uploaded within 2weeks. Any suggestions for launching, promoting, getting reviews would be helpful. Thanks!!

I just watched a webinar by ConvertKit, and their recomendation was to plan on "Launch Year". While Launch Week is the norm, it usually takes more than a week to get your book out to readers and reviewers. If you work the longer term, and use the book to build your platform, you'll probably be better off. That's what I'm doing, anyway.

This is very good advice, a long, slow burn seems to be a better strategy.
