My Favorite Crime Book Club discussion

Do you feel a basic knowledge of the Ripper crimes is necessary to get the most out of this book? Why or why not?

Did this book change your perspective on the crimes of Jack the Ripper? If so, how?

While I thought the book was interesting and engaging, it definitely would have helped if I had known more about the Ripper crimes before starting, at least a little. Upon finishing, I would like to read or watch other material devoted to these particular crimes to learn more.

Liesl, I had a bit of knowledge, so my experience was a little different in that it was refreshing to get this new perspective on the whole thing.
