“Here it is,” Eadlyn said to Ember. “What do you think? The maids worked really hard. They wanted to make sure everyone would enjoy their time at the palace. Each room is customized based off of your element. That’s why your room is earth based.”

“I’ll leave you to it then. The women’s room is downstairs. If you need anything you can always ring a maid. And if you ever feel threatened there’s guards you can go to. Any last questions?” Eadlyn asked.

“Okay. I’ll see you around then,” Eadlyn said and walked out the door and into the hallway. She gazed at some of the portraits hanging up. She found a mirror and checked her appearance, then continued walking. She found the stairs at the end of the hallway and descended down them.
