Autumn (Triquetra Reviews) I was a tad disappointed with the way things turned out. I was hoping for Morph right off the bat. I feel like Morpheus got the short end of the stick. Sure he gets forever, but still. He had to wait SO. FREAKING. LONG.

Mary Reagan I was a bit disappointed because I have been a diehard Morpheus fan since the first book, but now that I think about it, it's probably the best way that the book could have ended. If she'd have had to choose, she wouldn't have been the Alyssa that we know and love. One side would've won out over the other, and story would be over. At least this way, she stays the character who we love and both of those sexy boys get to have her.

Teia I was soooo happy about the ending. I am so a Morpheus girl. I was happy that Alyssa got to get the best of both men. I started to fall in love with Jeb on the last book and was sad that she could only get a human life with him. But.... at least Alyssa was happy.

Maria I'm extremely happy with the ending. I was hoping that she'd ditch Jeb and just go for Morpheus but let's be honest, MORPHEUS OWNED THIS BOOK. How many Jebylssa scenes were there as opposed to Morphylessa scenes? Jeb was more useful than he was a love interest. Alysssa pushing Morpheus off pissed me off and her just saying Jeb. HOWEVER, Morpheus just left sad in my pillow about how I'm a lonely soul. You do not understand how much I wanted the Red Queen to force Alyssa and Morpheus to get married. It would have been perfect. <33333

Ashley This was the ending I was hoping for actually, she didn't have to choose either world or either man. But it just didn't feel right.
I have been a Morpheus lover since the first book and am so happy that she has forever with him (we need a novella for that portion) but it's so sad that he had to watch as she lived another life with Jeb while waiting for his turn.
There was no better way for this series to end though. But seriously I need more information on her and Morpheus' life together in Wonderland.

Mary Reagan I would love to read about their little boy if there is a novella! I'm so curious about what he would be like! Def need more info about Alyssa and Morpheus' life in Wonderland.

Maria I need the novella. Absolutely need one. I hope it's printed like Fairest was.

Dreamer Agreed, I'd love a novella. Agreed, Morpheus had a lot more time in this book; both as a character and with Alyssa. The ending was 90% predictable, and that's okay; that's what the book has been leading up to for a while. But I felt Jeb got skipped a bit in the book and I was very disappointed that we didn't get details of their mortal life together, married. Since book 2, we've known about Alyssa's son with Morpheus, but we don't get to learn about her children with Jeb? :-(

Mirou It's odd for me that she ends up with both guys. So yup, I would have her choose one of them.

Maria Ayres Hated the ending due to she choose jeb and morphues
I mean who is that selfish to mess with peoples heads like that
Plus she ignored the profercey of how to save wounderland that just shows alyssa is verry self absobeded
The battlewith the red queen should of been more anticlimatic

Aislinn Closure. I felt that was the biggest disappointment to me. I could get over the fact that she ended up with two guys. But we never got to "experience" those moments with them. They were just glossed over in the epilogue. By the time 'Untamed' comes out I won't care enough by then to read those moments. Their romances will be the furthest thing from my mind as I have moved on from this series.

Even though I'm Team Jeb, I think Alyssa and the STORY would have been better if she just picked Morpheus. I mean the last chapter is Alyssa and Morpheus bonding over a game of chess, and the last sentences in the Epilogue are Alyssa and Morpheus reuniting at last. What did I get as a Team Jeb:

"Jeb and I lived out our life in Pleasance.....I'll list no details: how many children and grandchildren....how old Jeb was when he died. All I'll say is that our mortal life together was everything and more than I'd hoped."

Ok...so that's it, wow. I'd rather read about her sexy and beautiful moments with Morpheus, then read about this short end of the stick with Jeb. It's like the author herself wasn't into Jeb anymore, but just threw a bone to her Team Jeb fans to "appease" them. Well I wasn't pleased!!!

And the actual story ending was just lackluster. She didn't DO ANYTHING!!! Sure she may have "gotten rid of" Red. But Morpheus and Jeb "saved" wonderland in my opinion. THEY were the ones that went to the different realms of wonderland and restored it. She just slept in the bed wearing sexy lingerie. And rushed out to save her man 'Jeb' from Sister Two. And then spend 24ish hours with her man 'Morpheus' before she went back to the human realm. Girl BYE!!! This ending could have been so much better!!!

Mirou Disappointing. Jeb was an annoying jerk the whole book and I just hated the fact that she ends up with both of them.

Jamie The Morpheus and Jeb ending was perfect! I loved that she didn't have to choose! & I loved that she didn't choose Morpheus over Jeb just because he was different, where in most stories with this type of love triangle the guy who is different or special or magic would have won. I agree that she didn't do anything though. I don't feel that she was the big heroine everyone expected her to be throughout the whole book... & I do wish the author would have elaborated on her life with Jeb in the end because I agree that it felt like she was just waiting for him to die so she could be with Morpheus. It made it seem like she was with Jeb out of guilt for the rest of her human life, when throughout the book it was clear that she truly loved him & that's why she had such a hard time choosing.

Either way, I absolutely loved this series!!!!

It's the fact that she got both because no one gets that luxury. It's not fair. Life doesn't work that way.

Suzy I couldn't help with being a little disappointed with the ending. The fact that she gets to have two lives with two different guys was unfair and like Maria said, none of us would ever have that kind of luxury in real life. I was also a huge Morpheus fan and absolutely despised Jeb from the first book. If I was either guy I would never in a million years agree to that kind of thing.

Nikita I wouldn't say it was perfect but I wasn't disappointed by the ending. I liked that she got to live two lives, her human one with Jeb and her immortal one with Morpheus. I mean how many of us get to have two loves in our lives like Alyssa.

She lived out her human life the way she wanted and slowly came into her role as the red queen with Morpheus by her side as she grew to love him as she loves Jeb.

Kathryn I liked the ending. I am a die hard fan of Morpheus and I am so happy Alyssa and Morpheus ended up together. I think I would have liked it more if Alyssa had just chosen Morpheus instead of both him and Jeb, but I wasn't unhappy about the ending.

Lauren Good for Alyssa, but I was hoping that she’d leave Jeb and not bother spending her human life with him (Morpheus all the way) but Morpheus gets forever, even if he has to wait, and is it just me or does the guy in the music video from I write sins not tradgedys by Panic! At the disco look a little like Morpheus?

Keltry I’m pretty happy with the ending, I mean, let’s face it, she chose Morpheus. Like, she chose to live her human life with Jeb but she chose forever with Morpheus. And if she really loved Jeb she would not have agreeded to live with Morpheus at all.

message 24: by Hannah (new) - added it

Hannah The truth is it was both. There were times I was for Morpheus sometimes for Jeb but I feel like if she had TRULY chosen between the two it would have been disappointing and there would have been no way to properly get rid of the other person without having them hate her.
