I read this book on one evening and finished it the next afternoon, so technically it’s within 24 hours, I’d say it counts :)

So many people claimed that Hoover is a fantastic author. Do you agree? Have you read all of her books thus far?

p.s. I like your idea of a master list. Hope you wouldn't mind if I adapt it into my own thread??

Actually this one was my first of her book. I read this one because I'm a fan of Tarryn Fisher :)

Since there's a lot of hype over Hoover's her books, I do plan to read one, but been holding back because her works are YA, which is something I don't really go for. One thing that attract my attention is that her books are sad and angsty (which something I love) so I'll use that as my motivation haha!

And of course you can adapt the master list :)

5. A book that made you cry
description
This one is a post zombie apocalyptic setting. I don’t usually read such things but I love Madeline Sheehan’s gritty bikers books so I had to read this one and boy I’m glad! It’s sad and depressing (just the way I love my books!). It’ more about friendship and humanity than the rotters.

I’m obsess with The Walking Dead and always thought I would survive a zombie apocalypse. I even dreamed a few times of surviving a zombie apocalypse haha! But after reading this book, I’m not sure anymore.

6. A book by an author you’ve never read before
description
(18+) This one is a dark erotic romance. It involved a forced consent and centered on revenge. It’s dark and twisted. Love every moment of it.

7. A book written by an author with your same initials
description
My initial is A.J. :)
(18+) Another dark erotic romance. This one is of a drug mule and the things she did to survive. The subject is dark, but the writing is not. Also, the author (who I assume is a Brit) is a Malaysian resident.

8. A book with a number in the title
description
This dark erotic suspense book seemed to be either people love it because they get it with some patience (one character’s motivation wasn’t reveal until the very end), or people hate it because they can’t/won’t see beyond the surface. The two male characters in the book were in porn industry and the female character was a slave escapee, and it’s a ménage relationship. So it’s not something everyone can handle, but the story had a good build up and I love the characters.

9. A book that scares you
description
This book is not scary in traditional sense. It’s a psychological thriller/mystery that made me sweat, wondering what the hell was going on throughout the book.
