It is 2:30 in the morning here but I promise to get on here later and put craft pics up. :) Thank you Lena for the thread!
Yay. So happy this thread is here, thanks Lena. Here's my current cross-stitch, a freebie from Night Spirit Studios, one of my favourite pattern haunts :) I'm doing the self-isolating bat. https://www.nightspiritstudio.com/fre...
Oh this will be a fun thread. Thank for starting it, Lena. The only thing I miss more than going to bookstores is going to the craft stores.
Melanie, I printed out the "just one more page" pattern. thx!
It'll look great in my library/craftroom. I cleaned out a spare bedroom this year and put up bookshelves (still need more of them!) and a cabinet to hold all my yarns and pattern books. (https://www.sauder.com/furniture/4241...) wow, the price really went up on this. We got it for $180 earlier this year. I have all the shelves filled with yarn. Love it.

Here is one Christmas wreath that I made about four years ago. I use a hot glue gun for all my wreaths too. I am actually adding in pics because I don't have links for you all so sorry in advance!
This wreath took me about a week to make as I did some detail with it around the wreath ring which I will show you. This is my penguin wreath.
I wrapped a green ribbon around the wreath ring first and then added the different items finishing it off with poinsettia pins.
I finished a crib blanket this weekend, it’s made from Anchor Bay yarn so it’s washable. The back looks nearly as cool as the front.
Anybody pregnant, lol? I guess I will look at the Ravelry charity sites.
Since that slip stitch pattern went well I’m starting this mosaic pattern today: https://www.yarnspirations.com/Bernat...
I had bought the recommended yarn but didn’t like it. I bought Bernat Velvet instead in Majestic Purple and Chilled Blue instead.

I love the cabinet, Wendy! I can just imagine all the shelves loaded with different colors of yarn! :)

Thank you, Melanie! I haven't tried a Halloween one yet, but I need to! lol I have only done Christmas stuff and I have been doing some other interesting projects. I have also decorated the covers of scrapbooks too. I think I have pics of ones I did for two of my nieces about three years ago and I did one for myself. I will throw them up here as well as soon as I find the pics. :)
Thanks. I’m glad everyone remembers him. This lady at work did too. Right now he’s riding around in my backseat. Along with my other skeleton, Lightening Joe.
My girlfriend and I are off on a girl's weekend to Wellington, hitting all the craft shops and book shops in the city! Not sure how the budget will cope but can't wait!
Here is another Christmas wreath I made around the same time as the other one that I posted in here. This one is my bell wreath.
This one was a little more tedious as I also hot glued ribbon around the outer rim of the wreath and had to let it cool down till I glued the rest of the ribbon around the wreath.

I need to figure out taking and posting my own pics too.
Tech has never been my thing. :(
I did buy some more yarn this weekend. Lots of 100% cotton thread for dishcloths and pot holders. Great colors, and even some scrubby yarns. Haven't worked with that before.

No worries. I got your msg re using Gifyu, and I'm going to make some time this week to go through it and teach myself, thanks :)

Found this free download for a really cute Halloween ghost doily. Just follow the link at this site:

I agree with everyone- super cute and awesome and I love them! If you make those, consider me impressed. Lately my crafting skills have been limited to beaded snowflakes [last winter]. I planning on that again this year, seeing as it went so well last year.

So cute!
That scarf would be an interesting project. In my area, it would be a lot of reds, yellows, and oranges with the heat we get April through October.
For those who don't know, I'm Wiccan and today (the 2nd) is Imbolc. We are celebrating that winter is almost over and signs of spring are starting to peek out. Imbolc is associated with the Goddess Brigid, she's a Celtic goddess. Goddess of blacksmiths, poetry, musicians and singers, storytellers, scholars and teachers, artists, trades persons, and artisans, especially metalsmithshealers and herbalists, magick-workers, seers and prophets. So we really like her. It's tradition to place out Bree's Bed and ask her (Brigid) to come by and bless your home on Imbolc. That's the corn dolly in the basket.
So, that's your lesson for the day. Here's what i did-

I made the Bridgid's crosses, cheesecake, bird treats and bread. The bed & dolly, i made years ago.
That's so nice Latasha, and a good way to protect your home, I was just reading up on Imbolc, very interesting!

This is my current project. It's shown made up as a pillow but I'm planning on framing it when finished instead. It's done with very tiny stitches and I had to practice them before starting on it.
I downloaded the instructions at Herrschner's website for just a few dollars. I love the thread it uses, the colors are great.
