I was so sure I'd be able to catch up on the third book as well as read the fourth one this month, but school is just a lot right now, and I don't think I'll be able to. I'm glad you liked it, though, Ruthie, and I hope your hold comes in soon Eirelyn! Hopefully, I'll be able to finish the series soon.

I was finally able to get the book today, so I have just started reading! Not sure if I'll finish before the end of the month, though, so I'm glad this thread will still be here into next month.

Okay, so I'm almost halfway through and I'm really enjoying this book so far! It is going really quickly and has the same feeling of the rest of the series. I just really feel...comfortable...reading this book/series. :D I don't know how to fully explain that still. lol

I'm so glad there has finally been more mention of (view spoiler)[Ronan's feelings for Adam. This time, they were mentioned in a much more overt way, with the way Ronan described taking note of different features of Adam's. I wasn't sure, all along, if Adam was aware of Ronan's feelings, but in the scene where Ronan helped him up from under the car, Ronan seemed to think that Adam was fully aware, so I'm curious to see where this goes & how they navigate it. Also, I think I like Gansey a little more in this book for some reason. I don't know if it's because he seems less (view spoiler)[entitled or what. I just like him a little more now, which is good...because I've wanted to like him more all along, lol. I think part of that is that we get to see how much he really cares for Blue. When she was injured because of possessed!Noah, he was really worried for her & went to the hospital with her. And then he immediately felt like he needed to be truthful about how he felt about her with the rest of his friends. I'm glad it's out there now, that it's no longer a secret, and that Adam seems okay with it. (hide spoiler)]

All the stuff with Henry is really interesting too. It seems like it's a little late in the series to be (view spoiler)[introducing this new element, but it's still interesting, and I'm looking forward to finding out more about him & his ties to the magical world. (hide spoiler)]

I'm so glad you mentioned about feeling comfortable reading it and I totally agree it's a hard feeling to describe. After my love of the first one I felt "comfortable" reading all the others as well and even though the 3rd one disappointed me a bit I still felt "comfortable" reading it. Lol thinking about it now it feels like reading a first hand account of friends like a journal or something? Idk if that's a good description or not. It's like every new book is reading their new journal entries.
