Hi! I’m currently learning spanish and i wanted to make this just in case there are other people in this group that are either also learning spanish or are fluent to practice with!

I’m not sure if there are any spanish speakers in the group since there wasn’t a topic about it already but i thought i would see.

i tried to learn spanish during quarantine but gave up beacuse i had no one to talk to in spanish

me gusta que tenía la clase de espanol para cuatro años pero no puedo decir nada en espanol. solamente puedo decir oraciones sencillas. aY diOs miO. y cuando veo un párrafo en espanol, quiero morir ahahaha. oh sorry. jajajaja XD

Me pasa lo mismo, estoy tratando de aprender aleman pero cuando voy un párrafo no tengo ni la menor idea de que dice 😂

I seriously don't know what else to say. I am really a beginner of a beginner.

I am learning spanish and I kind of like it. It gives me a headache and I am terrible at the grammar. I can get the gist of things though. Like some things I won't know exactly what you are saying, but I can get the idea. But if anyone wanted to practice with me!!!

De todos modos, estaba tratando de aprender español en Duolingo, pero hace tiempo que no lo hago. Deberías ver los correos electrónicos que estoy recibiendo de duolingo ahora mismo oml jaja

honestly, just seeing posts written in Spanish would be and is really helpful. same with reading things that are more conversational, but not the kind of topics we would practice in school. (i don't feel the need to describe my living room or order food from anyone here lol)

I didn't know there are people who speak Spanish, I got too excited. Spanish is my mother tongue and if anyone wants me to help them with anything (or has questions), I will gladly help them. Actually, my English is not sooooo good, but I'm trying! :)

Yo tampoco sabía que en este grupo había gente que hablaba español! Yo soy española y cuando hablo por los grupos siempre estoy preocupada porque no sé si estoy diciendo las cosas bien jajajaja.

Yo hablo español y estar en grupos como este me ayuda bastante a aprender inglés y a ponerlo en práctica. Llevo aprendiendo inglés desde que era pequeña y nunca antes lo había usado hasta que empecé a hablar por foros como este. Te recomiendo que veas algunas serie en español si quieres seguir aprendiendo el idioma. Yo llevo un año viendo la televisión en inglés y estoy aprendiendo muchas cosas que no me enseñan en el colegio!

I speak spanish and being on groups like this helps me a lot to learn english and to put it on practice. I've been learning english since I was little and I had never used it since I started chatting in forums like this. I recommend you watching some tv shows in spanish if you want to keep learning this language. I've been watching tv in english for a year and I'm learning a lot of things that school haven't taught me!

Can someone tell me what's the difference between these two sentences?

Carolina se encanta el chocolate.
A Carolina le encanta el chocolate.

The first one isn't right.
"se" isn't used in that sentence, and it needs tha preposition "A" before the noun "Carolina"

The second one is the right one, and means "Carolina loves chocolate"

Idk if I said that right, I don't speak english very well...

The best source that worked for me is the internet, just search "learn Spanish" and you'll find blogs and all kinds of things that's how I'm learning German right now

Solo un poco hablo español..

today in school i took my first day of spanish! the teacher talked only to us in spanish for the first half, and then the second half he talked to us in english. today we were just learning the basic rules of the classroom and what not. thankfully i learned how to say “may i go to the bathroom?” and “can I use my chrome book?”
