Jean-Philippe Soulé | 2 comments I just finished my second book, an inspirational memoir filled with challenges and epic adventures. Already professionally edited, I seek beta readers to give me feedback as to whether it’s ready for publication, or if there are still chapters that may benefit from a rewrite and additional developmental edits.

The book for which I’m seeking beta readers is “I, Tarzan: Against All Odds”. It’s a 88,000-word inspirational memoir that will have you journey into your own inner self, questioning your own self-understanding, life goals and priorities.

The current blurb:

By age thirteen, I was an alcoholic—anything to numb myself from my world of emotional abuse.

That wasn’t who I wanted to be.

My dreams of adventure and exploration were so far out of reach.

I’d never become Tarzan. I’d never become Jacques Cousteau.

But I was wrong.

This is my story . . .

I seek feedback on the general interest of the story. Character development (I know it’s a memoir, but still), the flow of the book in general and transitions from chapter to chapter. Are there any story or section dragging the pace that could be removed?
A general review of your feelings about the whole manuscript.
Preferably you’d send your feedback within four weeks or less so that I have time to incorporate them in my book before it goes to the final proofreading pass prior to publication.
Please let me if you’d be interested to join my beta reader team.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Jean-Philippe Soulé Jean-Philippe Soulé
