Tbh I feel the ending is realistic. I mean the story is all about murder and rape and pedophlilia and most time those cases are never solved. If anything, it’s the best ending the book could have. Left open as many stories in real life are.
Oh no problem! It’s fun seeing other ppl’s views on open endings. And yeah I can see how some ppl find it frustrating; but real life can be so much sadder with those situations. And Courtney did such a excellent job of making it dark and realistic but not overly gross or unreadable. Are you reading her new book The Project? It’s about a cult and I’m intrigued
I know! But the cover isn’t my style. I wish it looked like Sadie and the re printed Cracked Up To Be cover so I would match. But hopefully it’s good. After Sadie my expectations are kinda high 😅
I loved Sadie! I thought the cover was super pretty actually
ooooh it's a mystery novel :O to those who read it would you say it's kind of similar to A Good Girl's Guide to Murder???
