A Bookish Adventure... discussion

I really loved it the first time I read it, but the second time I barely liked it at all; I thought the romantic relationship was pretty unhealthy and it got on my nerves.

i start my buddy read with eveonne today and i’m excited!

Overall, it's good, beautifully written and magical, but the romance is just. . . yuck.

I liked the author's book The Starless Sea better.

I feel like this book is a hit or miss for people. I personally really enjoyed it, and I liked the writing style. A lot of people say the book is slow paced, but personally I thought the fact that things weren’t rushed just made the story more mysterious and suspenseful. But I can see why some people may not like it.

I liked it too. I didn't think it was slow paced, and wasn't the writing style amazing?

Yeah, the writing style was amazing, and I think it was just so beautifully written!
