For the months of September and October, my TBR is comprised primarily of mystery/thrillers, horror and reads that are darker in tone. This time of year, I like to read things that give me all the autumnal vibes. I do have a few sequels on deck though:The Damned by Renee Ahdieh

Okay this is super random but I also have Darius the Great, Grown, Where Dreams Descend + Watch Over Me on my TBR
My tbr is kind of strange because I am actually restarting many series so I can continue them. I want to either (1) make progress on the series listed (finish them) or (2) knock out the individual books listed.City of Bones
Twilight
Shadow and Bone
A Court of Mist and Fury
I might add more depending on where my mood takes me 🤣
Looking at my TBR for this month... I really don't have that many sequels, but these are the books I have to choose from this September. Books that are sequels are denoted by (s)-

I only have two books left to read and hoping to get through those particularly during this weekend as we're away. But I've sped through the others so much- this has definitely been a great reading month for me! :)
There’s a bug not letting you edit an old post... Anyhow, I finished
De stad van de alchemist (post #4)Hope to finish 2 more books this weekend.
note: there's some sort of bug preventing me from editing comments, so I'm simply deleting the old ones and reposting the update as new ones. I guess I'm done with the devour challenge for this month anyways :)This is a great way for me to finally get ahead in some of my series!
tbr
⫸ To All The Boys I've Loved Before Boxset - done: the movies did a lot to rectify my disappointment in the books.
⫸ The Kill Order - done: well let's just say I'll be glad to leave this series behind.
⫸ Unforeseen - dnf : I just don't see a point forcing myself through a book that's been boring me from page one on.
⫸ The Queen of Traitors - done: sadly didn't catch on to this one as I did to the first instalment.
⫸ The Queen of All that Lives - done : quality wise, this sits somewhere between the first and the second bookin the series.
⫸ A Darkness at Sethanon
⫸ The Fever Code
That's so weird, I don't have an edit option anymore, either! I wonder if it's a bug or if Goodreads is doing away with the option. I hope not. :(
I already sent them a message to let them know about this, hopefully they'll fix it. would be an extremely useful thing to get rid of :(

Thank you for doing that! ♥ I agree, I'm going to be really sad if they're phasing it out. :(

It’s a bug and they’re working on it. It appears to be fixed now? Can’t check cause I’m on my phone now (app).
I always suck at updating on here...Hello everyone,
The sequels I'm hoping to read this month are:
A Trial of Sparks & Kindling (current)
Cilka's Journey
Royal Assassin (I may not get to this one...)
Happy reading

Want to participate in Sequel September? You're in the right place!
Simply post your TBR here! (If you'd rather not make a TBR, just write down books as you begin them. Mood reading is a-okay, too!)
For the sake of efficiency, I've decided to merge these two threads this month! Now, when you progress in your TBR, you can update your original comment, add a comment stating your progress, or preferably, BOTH! Whether you've just started a new read, finished a book, or just want to share some thoughts, have at it!
If you'd like to update your original TBR comment as you progress, you can strike through the titles, add (READ) to the line, or whatever else you like. Feel free to add more to your TBR as the month progresses!
