The Pius Trilogy is over and done with, at long last. It has been giving positive reviews by Ellen Gable, Karina Fabian, the third book was beta-read by Ann Lewis ....
For the record, The Pius Trilogy is a story that begins with a simple conspiracy to destroy the Catholic Church over Pope Pius XII, and ends with a knock-down, drag out battle for Vatican City from the forces of the United Nations .... no, there are no black helicopters. The sad part is, all of it is technically legal, and possible ...
Okay, the REALLY sad part is how much of this book has already happened since I started writing it.
Along the way, it go into a LOT of history, the modern world vs. the Church, and even something a lot of "good liberals" want -- put the Catholic church on trial for crimes against humanity (yes, it's been suggested), and the Pope wins. :)
Anyway, that's the short version ... which is already too long.
Generally, people like it.
