Cecil Huston | 239 comments I have three options of books I already have, looking for opinions on which one I should read. “A Cry in the Night” by Mary Higgins Clark; “If She Knew” by Blake Pierce, or “From the Corner of His Eye” by Dean Koontz. (More on my TBR list, but trying to use up as many of the ones I already have first. Need more room for more books!)

I am only familiar with Clark and Koontz so my suggestion would be Koontz :-)

Thanks, decided to follow your suggestion, currently reading the one from Dean Koontz!

Cecil Huston | 239 comments Challenge compete! It was longer than I planned on, but made it in time to squeeze in my book club book too. I’ve read a few of Dean Koontz books before, one very creepy one and all of the Odd Thomas series, which I loved. That said, I was familiar with his tendency to be somewhat wordy, but this one did drag on a bit. Still enjoyed the story, with shifting perspectives. The supernatural aspect was a bit of a stretch, but fit the story pretty well. Not my favorite of his books, but more than willing to try another.
