Star Wars Bookworms Book Club discussion

I've only read the first page or so, but man is this writing style gonna take some getting used to. The opening few sentences are so different from what we are used to in current Star Wars books. Have to remind myself this book was written in the 70's

Did anyone else the casual passage of so much time? There were so many times where "a few days passed" while they were traveling through the murk. I don't know I that was supposed to emphasize how sloe they were moving or how far.

I haven't read much but yeah what you said about the whole slow movement and passing of days thing is kind of head bobbling slow. You start to fall asleep pretty much 20 pages into this book. Oh-well.

All in all, its a pretty good red for what its worth
