@❝ sophocles ❞ : oh i like it! as for azulon and geum what is their fathers kinda pushed them to be acquaintances when they were younger and maybe they resented each other, but as the years went by they evolved into a more friendly rivalry. i could see geum being azulon's bodyguard for a sec and absolutely hating it. let me know what you think :D

i love the idea of min and jian! imagine jian begrudgingly following min around after he escaped the palace (min has the habit) per the king's orders. them being the only one they can confide in with min carrying the country on his shoulders and jian keeping the secret of the dai li.

jian always managing to be one step ahead of min whenever the prince tries to escape his "bodyguard." it's not the most exciting assignment, but he enjoys how real min is. the inward struggle that jian is going to have because he knows that the dai li no longer trust in the earth king to keep their city peaceful, especially with min wanting to declare war on the fire nation! i feel like jian will always be the slightly judgemental friend in all of min's endeavors.

yes, especially since geum's family is so highly regarded! azulon never really enjoyed the company of kids his age when he was younger, so hanging out with geum was not something he wanted to do. i love the idea of them being friendly rivals; especially with geum buying his way into the admiral position. them sitting next to each other at the war councils!
geum definitely will have to bodyguard at some point which azulon also hates because he's perfectly fine on his own but loves because he gets to boss geum around!

also omg please let's do something between jun and jian, especially since jun is all for the dai li's shift in loyalties. even though jian hasn't vocalized where he falls (which ultimately needs to be to the dai li, of course), these two constantly butt heads.

@soph: can i call you that lmao i'm down for that, yes! she could be the warrior he likes if you want. she could tease him a lot and just thinks they're good friends. it would be slightly angsty if she like noticed he had a thing for her but it's like intimidating for her cuz he's a man of status or something idk that's if you want something like that hahaha

oh. my. gosh. that would be so cute, can we please! she doesn't even really need to love him back, but he's just going to adore her. we're talking flowers and little gifts from his travels, and he probably gives her items for free whenever he brings his merchandise to kyoshi island, like maybe some new fabric for her uniform or some top notch makeup! and give me ALL the angst possible, are you kidding?? but honestly lu beifong is just a very pure bean who loves and appreciates women for the warriors that they are.

and oo yes! they would absolutely be friends! my canon is that his father and her father were best friends growing up, so obviously ujurak and nayah would know each other! he'd probably be super comfortable around her and she could tease him about all the girls fawning over him.


@badger alkshdjkf okay so as much as i know that azulon is a total dick, i want to feel like he is very family-oriented (just based on some things i've read + this is my version soo), i really want to go with the former. being constantly coddled by sozin, he sees what she goes through. while not incredibly brotherly (he probably has a closer relationship with mika), he will stick up for her in front of his father. now if something were to happen between them that would cause their relationship to sour, i'd be down for that as well!

100% rivalry, for sure. i'd love to have someone to try and push jian's buttons since he's so calm and collected about most situations.

omg i love it. just imagine them meeting at night to form a plan and be together because during the day she has to spend the day being a good “housewife”. her husband suspecting something going on between them but not bringing it up ‘cause eizen has a higher title than her husband. how would he react if she told him she was pregnant! she’s been keeping it from her husband until it will get too noticeable, but i feel she would tell eizen. omg i’m already so in love with this collab!

what if min befriends jun, but is secretly investigating him and the rest of the dai li. like using jun as a secret way into finding out the dai li’s shift in loyalties although partially caused by him trying to go to war with the fire nation but that is neither here nor there i can’t imagine min betraying jian like that, but he wouldn’t go as far as faking loyalties to get what he wants. idk

oh my god, angst! the fact that the dai li has been jian's entire life but he's become so incredibly loyal to min, it may tear him apart!! i haven't decided which path he will take but the internal conflict will eat him up inside since he's so not an outward feelings person. if you are running with min maybe investigating the dai li, since the organization is incredibly crafty and they would give no reason to suspect anything, maybe jian gave min a tip about it either subconsciously or through an anonymous letter or something? but at the same time, terrible idea on their part lol, the dai li are fucking wild, man, they both about to be wildin in this conspiracy

oh, azulon casually wanting to just burn geum to a nice crisp whenever they are in public. i love the thought that these two sometimes so outwardlty dislike each other, but other times are somewhat laid back together. the perfect frenemy relationship.

@ soph okay so han and his friend were kinda practicing together, pushing their limits when they sparred. han was rather new to his talents and he underestimated himself, sending a wave so powerful that his friend tumbled down the cliff into the depths of the roaring ocean. his body wasn't found at all and everyone assumed that he might be already dead.

but perhaps he's still alive and his identity isn't what it seems to han
